Born in Cuba, Amliv L. Sotomayor discovered her love for art at 3 years old drawing mermaids and flowers for her grandmother back in "la yuma". Her father's photography served as the foundation for creativity and her curiosity for creating began. Experimenting with art in Cuba was autonomous, and then she brought those talents to the United States when she was nine years old. She has since graduated from the Miami International School of Art & Design for visual arts while seeking alternative education in science. Amliv currently resides in Hialeah, Florida and eats her rice and beans regularly.
