The Little Candle’s Origin Story:
For centuries, the little candle kept her patron and her patron’s family warm & creative…but this was no ordinary candle. Passed down from generations to generations, the little candle now found herself part of a…new Patron’s home. A younger Patron, a sensitive Patron, a not so patient Patron, an over thinking Patron that stayed up all night rethinking his day choices, his past choices and his current state of delusion.
As night fell, the Patron decided to light the candle given to him as a gift, hoping its warm glow might inspire him. The moment the flame flickered to life, a soft, magical hum filled the room. To his astonishment, the girl-shaped candle began to shimmer and transform. Before his eyes, she came alive, blinking her eyes and yawning softly with an ethereal grace.
That night, with the candle by his side, the Patron’s ruminating thoughts melted away and his creativity was able to spark through. The little candle’s presence filled the room with a sense of calm and creativity. She would dance around the study, her movements casting playful shadows on the walls, each shadow sparking a new idea in the Patron’s mind. Her soft glow illuminated the pages as he wrote, guiding his hand and igniting his imagination.
Years passed, and the Patron grew older. His hair turned white, and his hands became frail, but his passion for writing never waned. The little candle remained by his side, her flame unwavering. One final night, as the Patron lit the candle for what he knew would be the last time, he smiled at the little candle with gratitude.
As the final story was completed, the Patron gently blew out the candle. The little candle’s form shimmered one last time before she returned to her waxen state. The room was dark, but the Patron’s heart was light, knowing that his words, inspired by little candle, would continue to shine brightly in the world.
